It’s official. Kevin Garnett has finally agreed to be traded to the Boston Celtics. He will be playing alongside resident Celtic all-star Paul Pierce and another recent Boston Celtics acquisition all-star player Ray Allen. With the Western Conference being dominated by San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks, leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves and playing for the once glorious Boston Celtics team would give KG the chance he deserves. To finally play for an NBA championship.

With the Eastern Conference crown practically up for grabs, having KG on their roster instantly makes the embattled Boston Celtics team a renewed sense of confidence that they haven’t had since the Larry Bird era. It tool 2 former members of the championship Celtics team Danny Ainge and Kevin McHale to get it done but they did. The NBA and the entire sports world is somehow a little brighter once more.
